What literature to choose for learning C++?

Advise literature or courses on C ++, have experience in scripting languages, representation of the processor and memory. It is desirable that with tasks, but not "thick" manuals where the floor of the book describes how to download and install the compiler.

Stephen Prata, Lectures and Exercises is a very good book to start with.
Bjarne Stroustrup, Programming, Principles and Prat... is also a very good book, but it's best to read it after you've already become familiar with C++.

I personally read it, for starters, the best textbook, after it you can, as written above - Stephen Prata, Lectures and exercises.
Deitels also describe in great detail.
