What linux distribution works out of the box?
Greetings.
I'm tired of trying to turn ubuntu into something that looks like a full fledged OS. I'm just incapable of it.
Due to my line of work, I can't switch to Mac or Windows.
Please tell me a distribution kit that will work adequately without surprises out of the box and at the same time will have a poppy-like interface (unity, gnome and all that are also considered).
Thank you.
UPD: Installed xubuntu. Thanks for the advice. Works great.

Any end-user distribution. Be it Ubuntu, Fedora or Suse. You install all of them and they work, and unlike Windows, they do not require downloading all sorts of drivers. My older mother Ubuntu GNU/Linux installs with her eyes closed, but she can't handle Microsoft™ Windows™.
Switch to a poppy, I have a feeling that ubutnu will never be finished, it will always be crooked raw buggy, and after upgrading to a new version in 90% of cases you have to reinstall everything.
I am using Xubuntu 14.04. Everything is stable and out of the box, just like Xubuntu 12.04.
Customize the interface to your liking. There are themes for MacOS.
And what kind of needs that you can not use a poppy or Windows? In Windows, you can put cigwyn, in the poppy, the console is generally full-fledged. I, after I switched to developers, also moved to Linux. Yes, it’s more convenient to develop, but constant dances with a tambourine around Skype, proprietary drivers, and non-working equipment also got it. But this is a payment for "free" and for the convenience of a different kind. And so I add the opinion that Linux is not for desktops, for now, at least.
There is no such distribution kit and cannot be!
In any case, after installation, you will need to configure X, apache, proftpd, sshd; set up custom software (if the hamster does not move from the old machine), etc., etc.
At least a couple of days of settings are provided!
And if you install a posterized distribution kit, you will be provided with permanent unforgettable sex!
What's the problem then? Ubuntu LTS is quite stable. If you don't like it, look towards Debian / Mint.
Well, it's kind of like nothing. Let's be more specific
Try ElementaryOS. elementaryos.org. It seems to meet all requirements.
No.
In any case, with such ordinary actions as connecting three monitors, you will have to get a tambourine.
And not the fact that the tambourine will always help.
Here is an example: How to correctly install drivers for video cards in Ubuntu?
No one was able to answer, although there were many alleged Linux users in neighboring topics.
ubuntugnome.org or kubuntu Save the father of Soviet democracy. I don’t know what you are finishing or finishing there, but Ubuntu, Mint, Fedora and a bunch of others work from KAROPS with a bang, without any finishing. And set the task because you are unlikely to get a sane answer.
