What Linux container systems do you know?

I heard earlier that there are software solutions based on chroot and virtualization that allow you to run an application in a limited secure environment. So, which ones exist?

virtualbox, docker e.g.
kvm could be attributed even though it's not an

In fact, only three are alive - LXC, openvz / Virtuozzo, porto. (Docker is based on LXC a little more than completely).
The rest are no longer being developed and/or are not compatible with more or less up-to-date kernels (even RH ones).
