What lightweight CMS engines for an information site exist?

There was a need for a lightweight CMS engine, but at the same time functional. The basic functionality of standard CMS engines should be present - these are news, voting, news rating, and most importantly, templates, etc. With the possibility of expanding the functionality of add. modules, plugins.
At this time, I'm looking in the direction of DLE, but it's painfully cumbersome, and even paid, but the functionality satisfies. What do you advise? Drupal, Joomla and others do not offer (!)

I agree that a well-tuned Wordpress, no matter how many people spit in its direction, is an excellent solution for many tasks. And there are a lot of opportunities to expand it.
