VBA is a scripting language in MS Office, appeared at the end of the last century and since then has hardly changed, it does not support .NET, it has its own runtime environment, so to interact with any .NET classes, you need to build a "bridge", the closest what you want is through COM, many standard .NET classes are available through it to applications outside of .NET, possibly including containers with LINQ.
