What lib/sdk do you recommend for working with AR in Android?

I'm looking for a lib/sdk to work with AR in Android, with the ability to work without Google's ARCore support. I want to do something like an application from IKEA, where you can place a virtual model of furniture in an apartment and see how it will look

The most optimal and convenient is to use Unity + Vuforia. Without an ARCore device, movement around the room will not work, though.
There is another one on 8thwall where there is program code instead of ARCore - i.e. moving works but not as good as with ARCore
