What laws related to the Internet (blocking, personal data, privacy, etc.) from other countries (non-CIS) do you know?

for example, there is the GDPR, the law on personal data in Europe, which came out the other day and is used globally. I mean that they can impose fines on projects that use the personal data of Europeans, even if they are outside of it. In this regard, I became interested in what is in other countries. if you know, please share any links.
For example, I also learned from friends that in Australia all traffic is stored by the provider for 10 years, all this became interesting and would be useful for any developer to know in general terms.
In general, throw everything you have, please.

About Australia - either a mistake or a lie. Not all traffic, but metadata (the fact of connection) and not ten years, but two years. The law has been in force since 2015.
In the EU, such a requirement was adopted already in 2006, but in 2014 it was recognized by the court as contrary to fundamental human rights.

There are many places, finding it on the Internet is a matter of 5 minutes.
But, alarmists will not think of this before, they just know that in the Russian Federation - oogogo, horror! and in the US and Europe - a stronghold of freedom. They don't care anymore. Whereas in reality it is almost the other way around.
Vinsky's website, a travel forum, has been blocked in Indonesia. Who the heck needed it? And reddit. And all porn is blocked. I don't need it, but it's blocked. It's like the internet freedom index.
And in Malaysia - medium.com. It was cool that it was blocked right in front of me - I went to it yesterday, but literally on the trail. day - does not open!
In Vietnam, Facebook and Instagram. Everything else is fine.
India - I remember they blocked VKontakte. Everything else - no problem.
Burma/Myanmar - did not encounter sites that are blocked.
There are a lot of things blocked in Thailand. Reddit I think. shit for sure. And Facebook is monitored.

although not, in Vietnam both FB and Instagram work. Or did I just register dns from openNic :)))
