What is the best programming language to choose for the fastest and most convenient development of autotests for small projects (PHP + MySQL), where constant support and improvement are not required?

If the truth is not important, take PHP.
A clear plus is the team of PHP developers of your project. If so, is there anyone to turn to for help on the language and environment

What kind of tests are needed - gui or api?
And yes, the easiest option is python in conjunction with pytest.
