What kind of training is needed for Artificial Intelligence?
Good day. In a year, I need to enter a university that is located in another state, and I had such a question. If I want to be engaged in artificial intelligence in the future, is it better for me to enter the faculty of mathematics or is it still programming? In order not to waste time in vain, but it turned out to be all for nothing.

Your future career success does not depend on the chosen education and not even on its availability, but on you personally.
Well, if you answer directly in the forehead - that is, specialties directly related to AI. In the CIS, this is "Intelligent Decision Making Systems", for example.
PS majors != faculty
It depends on what is weaker for you: if the applied part, then programming, if the theoretical part - applied mathematics
In normal universities, you can choose both directions at the same time
But, as already noted, success is not guaranteed even if you study for A +
