Are you actually interested in sections of mathematics and in what order should they be studied?

Arithmetic at the level of the third grade of a rural school + minimal knowledge of logic like "and, or, not."

Any programmer will benefit from discrete mathematics. The system programmer is not particularly different here (algorithms and data structures are more important to him).
A deep matan is needed for those who are engaged in calculations and modeling. Well, or areas where physics is involved, for example, realistic graphics.
The fact that mathematics is useful in general, and "puts the mind in order," I think is understandable.
