What kind of Linux will fit on the Intel Atom D425 (32 bit) processor?

I got a nice but ancient nettop Asus EeeBox PC EB1007P
4GB DDR3; 320GB HDD Sata; 1.8GHz; 32 bit

I want to put any Linux plus a browser on it - I plan to watch TV news from some sites, in low resolution.

Tried installing from flash drive - Puppy, Ubuntu 16 - doesn't work. It seems that the nettop on the one hand sees the USB flash drive (this is displayed in bios), but cannot boot from it.
Maybe a problem with the atom architecture or the fact that they are -32 bit?

In which direction to dig?

Any distribution of the year when this unit was released. Modern ones will slow down like hell. Sites, by the way, will also slow down, don't worry. It’s better to give it to an orphanage, for experiments :)

Well, you should try lightweight distributions like XUbuntu - the kind that have 32-bit versions.
With sites, maybe. Problems. Then it is better to use this computer as a terminal to a normal power computer.
