What JS libraries would you recommend for ASP.NET MVC5?

I didn’t do much with the user interface, I always avoided it, gave it to other developers. Now you have to do everything yourself.
Therefore, I ask for advice, what js libraries that facilitate development?
Interested in a set of user controls (treeView, grid ...) and what would be easier for a beginner in js to work with it.
So far I found kendo, I like it. Has anyone used it?

We used it. As well as its earlier version - Telerik MVC Extensions. In some ways, it makes life much easier. But if there is some non-trivial task, then it turns into hell. That's why you have to be very careful in choosing your solution.
There is another solution from Syncfusion , but I personally did not have a chance to try it.
