What Java materials would you recommend for writing an Android application?
Greetings gentlemen! A similar question was already, according to Java, but it is stated as chaotically as the answers on it are given.
I was fired up with the idea of my application for android, which will make this world a better place .
My current knowledge:
Html / css /
Php cross-browser layout at a basic level, I can take, for example, someone's code and remake it.
MySQL at the query level of medium complexity.
There is some understanding of OOP.
English - reading books in English is 3-4 times slower for me than in Russian. Some kind of brief technical guide I can, but the book ... is not so cool yet.
As I understand it, development for android is carried out on the SDK from Google for Android, for the Java language.
At the moment, I found the most interesting video courses from hexlet (sorry for advertising), for complete noobs, digestible. Friends also recommended Vadim Monakhov's book Java and the NetBeans Environment.
What would you like?
Quickly move on to some practical work with android sdk and start sawing something. I am a practitioner.
What would you not like?
Read or listen to mournful and lengthy treatises on machine bytecode processing, etc.
I summarize:
I requisition from you, my lord, literature / useful links / videos on YouTube / etc., which will help me quickly start developing my miracle program, while, of course, I don’t want to become a crookcoder.
And am I doing the right thing by starting to study Java SE, maybe there are some other guides / manuals for android?
Thank you!

There is a lot of outdated information on startandroid.ru. I recommend www.vogella.com/tutorials/android.html
I can tell you one thing from experience - it's not the language that matters, it's the knowledge of algorithms and basic knowledge a la "classes" and so on. Mastering the syntax is a matter of one evening.
And then - a matter of technology: read the documentation for android, code examples right there, on Habré, and write, write and write again .. And success will come to you.
