What is wrong with pip install?

Trying to install pylint for python. I write the following pip install pylint command and it gives me a syntax error! What is the problem? (I also wrote in the terminal, there is the same error)

pip install pylint should not be written in IDLE, but in the terminal

As someone who barely installed pygame: Uninstall your python if you didn't check the box where it says install python 3.9.1 in path, then download with that checkbox. Then you go to the command line (write in the search for windows) and type in English. py, then it should be activated, press Ctrl + z and Enter then write pip install and the library you want will be downloaded there and tada!
