To build networks (for wi-fi) on ubiquiti equipment, you need a UniFi Controller. Is it needed only for configuring and monitoring the hardware, or does it also take part in the operation of the equipment? Specifically, in a wi-fi network of several access points, the unifi controller should work 24/7?
