Rummaged through all the standard Win 7 fonts, picked up nothing.

This is the standard font for any console in Windows.
Have a look at:
Fixedsys
Consolas

System(typeface)

1) Right-click on the top frame of the console window and select "Properties" from the menu.
2) We are looking for the "Font" tab.
3) We look there at the selected font.
4) Profit.
