We need a trigger that would determine that the vfs.file.time["c:\file.txt"] file is today.

vfs.file.time["c:\file.txt"].fuzzytime
or
vfs.file.time["c:\file.txt"].now()-vfs.file.time["c:\file. txt"].last()

are not suitable, as they determine the difference, not today's date.
