What is the right alternative to outlook with exchange for collaboration in 2020?

Are there any alternatives to mail systems with a calendar, shared contacts and other things besides gmail and outlook with exchange?
I tried kerioconnect with outlook, but the result is so-so. They don't interact very well with each other.

Maybe in 2020 there was some new product that little is known about, but which is head and shoulders above everyone else, how did it happen with zoom?
