What is the name of the step between junior and senior?
As far as I understand, "junior" is completely without experience, and "senior" is a veteran, hardened in battles. And what is between them? What is the name of an ordinary middle peasant, already with some experience and understanding, but not yet drawn to the proud title of "senior"?

developer. Senior / Junior are modifier adjectives. By analogy with the junior lieutenant, lieutenant and senior lieutenant.
Between junior and senior - pre-intermediate , between senior and expert - upper-intermediate .
regular developer - I saw this term in the vacancies of many foreign offices
Middle or just without a modifier
For example - Junior Developer - [Middle] developer - Senior Developer
This is not a title, but rather a degree of responsibility, which, in general, is incorrect to discretize. So there can be anything between them, and be called whatever you like :)
