In one of the articles on Habré, it was mentioned that raid for a home server is an expensive and redundant thing for storing movies and TV shows, and a program was offered that sets up copying folders to different drives. For example, movies are only on one disk, but a folder of photos is in three copies on different disks.
The author wrote that this particular program is available only under Windows. The site was in English. I can't remember the name and I can't find the article in my bookmarks.
