Such situation. I am a programmer, I work mainly in Delphi, occasionally I do some little things in php / python. I began to notice that the tasks that I do cease to cling to me. Basically, these are different reporting systems / registers / directories. Sometimes specific calculators.
I noticed on my own that I like the processing of information. It sometimes flashes in my tasks (there is raw data, you need to extract some information from them, classify, etc.). I began to look for vacancies with such functionality, but I came across a problem - what is the name of this vacancy? I thought "analyst" - but vacancies with such a title in the field of IT imply system analysts. These guys design systems, not process data sets.
I would like to develop in this direction, but I have no idea what the names of people who solve problems of this kind are called.
