What is the name of the application running on the background with hold?

Good day to all! With iOS development, I’m not even familiar with “you”, but “they”. Question: what is the name of the application mode on the background with an increase in the status bar when the access point is active, or the active call in Skype is minimized (example in the picture)? The top shows the active application in the background, which is easy to switch to with one touch.
