What is the meaning of spam without advertising?

Increasingly, completely meaningless letters began to arrive at various mailboxes. This is probably some kind of spam, but there is no advertising in it, often it is just a set of characters or meaningful words that together do not carry any meaning.

Usually they test the spam filter of the server, to which they will send advertisements in the future. Well, at least that's what they say on their forums.
