What is the main disadvantage of Django?

Most praise django but no one talks about its cons, so I wonder what its disadvantages are?

I love holivars. Django/python has a very pretty syntax in return for good performance. GIL - Global Interpreter Lock which does not allow (full) to implement multithreading and asynchrony. It's hard to find freelancing work, clients don't want to bother with WSGI/ASGI servers, set up VPS.
