What is the lightest Linux distribution for a VPN server to choose?

Due to the fact that it was not possible to raise a stable PPTP server using the built-in Windows tools, and there is no third-party software for this purpose, I decided to make a VPN server based on a Linux virtual machine, but I need some kind of super -light distribution, it is desirable that it fits in 128-256 megabytes of RAM, because the host itself does not shine with its quantity. Only 1-2 people will connect, the load on the network will be scanty, so high performance is not needed, only stability and lightness. I will also need Zerotier, but it seems to fit anywhere anyway. Tell me, please, there are a lot of all sorts of distributions, it's unrealistically long to figure it out yourself.

The base system in Alpine Linux is designed to be only 4–5 MB in size (excluding the kernel).[citation needed] This allows very small Linux containers, around 8 MB in size, while a minimal installation to disk might be around 130 MB.

Debian netinst without graphics weighs and eats very little.

If a VPN is all you need, get RouterOS under x86 from torrent trackers.

Try solutions out of the box PFSense Community Version, OPSense (there is Russian localization). Both on BSD
