What is the hidd process and why does it interfere with sleep?

What is this process and why is it always in the "sleep avert" state?

No external devices are connected to the laptop. I have been watching this picture all the time lately, although there didn’t seem to be anything like this before. In principle, it doesn’t interfere with life, but somehow I noticed that if you close the lid while charging, the laptop does not fall asleep, sounds are heard in Skype, etc.
