I often see this %habrausername% tag in the text.
If I understand correctly, then he should substitute my name on Habré, but he doesn’t substitute it.

He does not substitute anything, this is a myth . Tradition, or something, old school.

You're right, this tag should really substitute your name in the text. Only this should not be done by the Habr engine, but by your own brain ;-)
