What is the future of the IT sector?
Now I am a second-year student of the evening department. The university is not bad, the specialty is nowhere worse (management). It does not take a genius to understand that I will not be able to work in my specialty after graduation.
What should I study in the field of IT in order to become more or less in demand after graduation?

Study what you have the ability and desire for.
As it has grown many times, it will continue to grow, everything is in demand.
it is foolish to believe that a good manager will not find a job, after all, the demand for managers is even higher than for IT people.
Do not leave the university, but try to transfer to a programmer at the same university. At least just ask the dean’s office whether it’s possible to do this or not and what you need to finish, you will prepare over the summer and finish everything you need in the fall.
And that's all. So many do.
Somewhere in the second year, a guy from another university, who studied as an economist, transferred to us, all the rules.
Moreover, some subjects from the record book will be rearranged - for example, cultural studies, history, economics, and other humanitarian subjects. Those. it will be necessary to pass only those technical subjects that were not there, which is quite realistic during preparation.
If you are interested in IT, then you will learn a lot quickly. Basically, discrete mathematics, algorithms, a little C ++ syntax, a lot of tasks in Pascal come first. so during this time you have not lost so much and you will have time for the most interesting. As I understand it, you have to study for another two years if you study for a bachelor's degree. And in two years in the IT specialty, you can learn quite a lot. The same algorithms, discrete, C ++, Java, C # can be studied quite well. And most importantly - you will have a diploma in IT specialty, as you want.
