What is the format of the fonts of the LEXICON editor (DOS)?
Help me find a specification or some material on the subject of LEXICON fonts.
Fonts were shipped with the editor in [.SFN] format files. Google suggested it was an SFN Font file [.SPX], but I couldn't find anything about the fonts myself.
If anyone knows what the structure of these files is, or at least hints at it, I will be grateful for the answer ;-)

As far as I remember, there are completely banal font bitmaps (256 characters, 14-16 bytes per line for each character, 1 line = 1 byte, 8 bits = 8 horizontal monochrome pixels) + some kind of header. The fonts themselves are found/edited/imported/exported by any bitmap font editor. Nothing particularly interesting is stored in the header, but in theory it is easy to guess or disassemble the exe file and see what happens there.
The .sfn extension is most likely just from the words "screen font", it is hardly possible to assume any standardization there.
