What is the error in linux xterm: Xt error: Can't open display: %s xterm: DISPLAY is not set?
Warning: This program is an suid-root program or is being run by the root user.
The full text of the error or warning message cannot be safely formatted
in this environment. You may get a more descriptive message by running the
program as a non-root user or by removing the suid bit on the executable.
xterm: Xt error: Can't open display: %s
xterm: DISPLAY is not set
Installed Xterm, now an error is thrown. What am I missing?

I assumed the question would have a Kali tag... and I was right! Monsieur cool hacker unable to translate the message? Banned on google? Rzhunimagu ...
In fact:
Xt reports that the program is suid (just don't ask what it is - I haven't got out from under the table yet, I'll kill myself!) Or is running under root, that the full text of the error cannot be shown - for it needs to be non-root.
xterm cannot be run outside the graphical shell, the DISPLAY variable just says so.
