What is the equivalent of punto switcher for ubuntu?

I installed xneur, but I don't see it running. The forum says that the icon may not be displayed in unity, to fix it, you need to enter the command in the terminal, but this did not help me. What other options are there?

everything that I tried to use when I switched from Windows to Linux does not work the way I want, and definitely not like punto for Windows, i.e. there are analogues, it googles in seconds, but they work as they should (infa > years), I unlearned this habits for a couple of months when I set the layout switch to CapsLock.

gxneur, but not every DE will work. It will definitely work on Mate/Cinnamon/XFCE. Not a fact on Gnome 3/Unity.

xneur with gxneur, or stop bullshitting and use dubious software.
third option: write yourself.
