What is the easiest way to install a VPN on Linux?
There is a machine (client) running Linux Mint and a server on Debian. You need to install a VPN on the server and configure the connection on the client. I tried OpenVPN, but after 2 days of installation and various solutions, when I still managed to make everything work, some pages through the VPN loaded for a very long time or did not load at all. I don't know what the problem is.
What is the easiest way to set up a VPN so that it works, if not out of the box, then with a minimum of settings? Safety is not a priority.
I tried Http / Socks Proxy, but still not all programs go through them, in particular Node.js works directly.
Thank you.

Debian wiki page , read in conjunction with "Forward traffic via VPN" chapter
On the server via Docker:

On the client with one command:sudo openvpn --config ~/vpn/vpn.ovpn
you can install hamachi, although it is a beta but it works stably ... though the speed is not the maximum, but it is easy to set up, and if you are too lazy in the console, then roll the haguichi graphics from above.
