What is the difference in the purpose of the graphic editors CorelDraw and Illiustrator?
Everything is clear with Photoshop - an indispensable tool for working with raster graphics (create some kind of picture for the Internet, a banner on VK or Instagram.) (You can’t fully work with vector graphics in Photoshop?)
But what is the best program to choose for working with vector graphics - Corel or illustrator. To create large-scale billboards, etc. Also in Korel, as in illustrator, you can draw some plain logos or drawings, as in illustrator, right?
I think to stay on the core for now.

Depends on what you will do with your files later.
If you draw graphics for the Internet or save as pictures / PDF files on the device, then it doesn’t matter - the functionality is the same, the tools are the same, choose what is convenient.
Illustrator has a bonus - linking with all other Adobe products.
If your works are sent for further processing on specific devices: plotter, laser, engraver - then you need Corel. Illustrator just doesn't export files to .plt, .pjx and so on
Work in what is comfortable. Both programs are designed to work with vector graphics, both have similar capabilities.
Somewhere I heard, they say, Korel is preferred for printing. But I think it's a matter of habit and inertia. I myself work in Illustrator, because. it is more convenient for me personally, I'm used to Adobe products.
