Apparently you have not yet figured out the terminology and therefore not only get confused in what you see, but also find it difficult to correctly formulate a question ...
A form is a visual representation of some object (directory, document, report, etc.). An object can have data - these are details that are described in the metadata tree.
When creating a new form, the constructor offers the existing object data to be automatically placed on the form in an arbitrary way - you can agree or refuse. When editing a finished form, you can place various elements on it, and at the same time, some of them are not associated with any data (groupings, labels, etc.), some are associated with object data and, when changed in the edit fields, will change in its details, after which can be stored in the database; and some form elements are associated with form details - data that lives exclusively within the current form and will be deleted after it is closed (for example, if you have a customer order for goods with amounts, then you can display additional fields on the form with the total amount order, number of SKUs, average position value, or even show that customer's debt).
