What is the difference between syncing with a remote server in NetBeans and PhpStorm?
Decided to change IDE from NetBeans to PhpStorm. PhpStorm, in my opinion, is many times more convenient than NetBeans. But I ran into synchronization with a remote server, and to be honest, PhpStorm upset me in this regard. At the moment, manual synchronization is convenient for me, not real time. That is, I did the amount of work on the local server, uploaded it to the host. In NetBeans, such a process does not take much time, the first thing is to scan the server for changes, a list of files is shown, from which you choose which ones to upload, which ones to upload, which ones to delete, etc. But in PhpStorm, I did not have the patience to wait for the end of the synchronization, it takes too much time to scan the server, if NetBeans has 2-5 minutes, then PhpStorm > 10 minutes. Maybe there are some settings in PhpStorm that speed up the synchronization process?

As experiments have shown, the difference between NetBeans and PhpStorm synchronization is that the latter, in addition to everything else, has the functionality of checking not only by size, but also by content and by the time of the last change, that is, with each synchronization, PhpStorm stamps the files with this very time, which explains the reason for the long synchronization, disabling this functionality in the settings significantly reduced the synchronization time in PhpStorm
