What is the difference between interaction in MVC and MVP?

Hello!
I'm trying to understand the differences in the implementation of MVC and MVP in the web frontend, and along the way I encounter different implementations of these patterns. The main issue is that the role of the controller and presenter is not fully understood. Explanations on the network, sometimes, contradict each other and I can not fully understand the whole thing.
