What is the difference between HX1000i and HX1000 power supplies? Should I pay extra for the HX1000i?

The difference in price between them is 5000 rubles. I know that the HX1000i version has a corsair link that many on the Internet criticize. How necessary is this thing? I also noticed that the HX1000 weighs 2 kg., And the HX1000i 3.5 kg. Why is it harder, with what is connected? What does the index "i" mean anyway? I also noticed that the more expensive model has a fan diameter of 140 mm. against 135. Is it important? How else are these blocks different? I also saw differences in the number of connectors: both there and there for me in abundance. The main selection criteria for me is reliability and noiselessness. The same question for the owners of the block: many write that the block emits a squeak and that this is a non-warranty case. Say it like that? And one more thing: they write on the Internet that the 10-year guarantee does not apply to Russia. It's true?

Thanks to all!

i has a cable for connecting to the motherboard and software for monitoring: you can get information about the operation of the PSU from the PSU itself. A BP without i has no such possibility. In general, you don't need it.
On trifles, there is still testing of the fan and its slightly larger size - you can also ignore this.
I have an HX1000, no squeak.

And one more thing: they write on the Internet that the 10-year guarantee does not apply to Russia. It's true?
More likely. We also do not have an eternal guarantee for RAM.
