On the Internet I found only instructions for enabling sleep mode. But how it differs from standby mode is not clear.

Hibernate = hibernate - dump the memory to disk, turn off the power. Not available if encryption is enabled or there is no swap
Waiting = suspend - disable all peripherals, leave power on memory
