What is the difference between Desktop Ubuntu and Server Ubuntu?

Do I understand correctly that regular Ubuntu has no significant differences from the server one, except for the lack of a visual interface?

Desktop ubunta differs from server ubuntu by the pre-installed ubuntu-desktop
package. If you do
sudo apt install ubuntu-desktop on a clean server ubuntu,
you will get a clean desktop with gnome x and other charms

Do I understand correctly that the usual Ubuntu does not have significant differences from the server one, except for the lack of a visual interface?

The server room also has its own installer, its own twists for the kernel and a starter set of programs.

The interface can be plugged in.
Nobody interferes.

If you are interested in differences in software versions, then the desktop and server ubunta repositories are common.
