What is the difference between desktop monitors and laptop monitors?
Good evening, tell me, there is a laptop and a computer, but on a laptop, photos and pictures do not look as natural as on a computer.
Is this only on cheap laptops?

The matrices are the same.
The only difference is the connections.
Monitors DVI, DisplayPort, HDMI, D-Sub.
Notebooks have LVDS.
But the color of the photo is different for another reason:
If you want to work with color (design, photo processing, etc.) - you need a laptop or monitor with an IPS type matrix (there are many IPS options from dumb to super-duper in image quality)
Taki monitors and such laptops are somewhat more expensive. Percent by 10-20-30.
Matrices like VA, PLS give more or less intelligible colors, but they are also more expensive.
Let's say the VA matrix has a deep black color and is well suited for texts.
Cheap laptops and cheap monitors have TN matrices.
They have a plus - they consume a little electricity and the picture changes quickly.
Good for gaming and good for saving laptop batteries.
Apparently, that's why they are also put in laptops more often - for the sake of saving batteries , and not just to save money.
But TN is the most disgusting in terms of colors.
