What is the difference between creating a website using layout and WordPress engine? As I know, WordPress provides everything you need to create a site and this makes it easier to work, then why make sites on a compiler and complicate your work if there is an easier way?

To make a website based on a ready-made template (whether it's WordPress or another CMS/website builder) with standard functionality and without special requirements, you don't need to know the layout. Layout knowledge will be needed if you need to make any changes to the site or make a unique design.
