At first glance, both seem to store the same data.

- Sent to the server on every request.
- Each entry has a lifetime
- Each entry has an access level
- Restrictions (approximate) IE - 4096 bytes in total for all domain cookies.
local storage
- Restrictions (approximate) - 5Mb for all domain data.
