If the blockchain is inside a corporate system and the servers are controlled by one person or group of people who can collude, then the blockchain is really no better than a regular DBMS. Often, customers are looking for a panacea in the blockchain for tasks that, in principle, can be solved by normal DBMS settings. I, being an architect in a system integrator, once dissuaded a customer from introducing blockchain into electronic document management, because. the same can be solved by digitally signing documents, and even arranging documents into a hierarchy by sewing the hash and ID of the parent document into the digital signature of the child document.

The data in the blockchain cannot be falsified, unlike the corporate information system in the general case.
