What is the danger of 410 error?
Crawling erroneous links search engines spend crawling budget and time. What happens if you replace a 404 error on a site with a 410 (permanently deleted)? It seems to me that if the necessary page is accidentally deleted and at that time the search engine is bypassed, then it will be more difficult to return the page that had status 410 to the search. Or is it not true? What do you think is the catch, why is everyone not using 410 error instead of 404?
