What is the correct way to switch between two crystal oscillators?
Given: two crystal oscillators (four-pin), for 53.2 and 53.6 MHz
Task: to switch between them. Switching during operation is not provided, so parasitic pulses during switching can be neglected (well, or the option when both quartzes are turned off in the intermediate state)
The question is: what is more correct, switch the power supply (and if so, directly or with transistor switches?) Or power both and switch outputs (via i-elements or, again, transistor switches)?
We will assume that I know nothing about electronics.

When power is turned on, each generator needs some time to reach the operating mode.
it is much more efficient to switch the outputs of running generators with logic elements.
