What is the correct way to embed schema.org markup in an email so that gmail can see it?
I want to add schema.org markup to the email for several purposes:
- displaying the subscription confirmation button in the email subject
- displaying order information in googlenow
When generating markup using https://www.google.com/webmasters/markup-helper/ nothing happens it turns out that gmail does not see the markup, or it sees, but nothing happens.
After generating the markup through markup-helper and then checking it here https://www.google.com/webmasters/markup-tester/ , a lot of errors pop up and it's not entirely clear how to fix them.
Tried to find a thread that explains how to embed markup in emails, but couldn't find anything.

Just doing everything right is not enough for Google (and for other mailers as well). You need to build a reputation as a quality sender for some features that are not currently available to work. make high-quality legal mailings, and soon the additional unsubscribe/subscribe buttons you need and other pluses that are now available only for trusted senders such as fb, for example, will begin to appear in topics. Nothing else.
