What is the best way to use prebuilt modules from Jade builds?

Mastering Jade.
I installed a ready-made assembly based on Gulp and other goodies.
In the example, there are ready-made modules like - header, menu, sidebar slider
They already have their own styles.
What's the best way to do it? Leave only the necessary ones and modify them, and demolish the rest or delete everything and write your own on a new one?
Please share your experience. How to do better and faster.

The modules are quite universal, they are mostly needed as "documentation" and an example of use, and for the demo, of course.
BEM is everywhere in them, so they will not interfere at all.
I usually start a project with all these modules, then as I work, I understand which ones I will use and which ones I won't, and just remove the ones I don't need. Well, you can still turn them off, any files starting with the _ character will be ignored.
If you have questions about gulp-front, you can ask them in the chat , it will be faster.
I hope you enjoy my bike :)
