What is the best way to upgrade a laptop?
There is a laptop Acer Aspire 7741G 4 years ago.
Processor i5-460M, 4Gb ddr3 - 1333, discrete video processor Mobility Radeon HD 5650, Wi-Fi module, sloppy keyboard and dead battery (17-inch laptop, autonomy lol)
There is a desire to sell it as unnecessary, and then the question is: how to upgrade it in order to better to sell?
1) You need a hard drive, because. the old one flew
2) Keyboard (optional) appearance all things
3) RAM (4gb in 2016 pain)
Budget 4-5k, all items are on Avito, there was an option to give it away, but it's a pity to give it away for 5k.

you change the HDD, Claudia, you will hand over the battery in light rubles for 12-15.
all iron can be bought freely, there is nothing in short supply.
HDD ~ 3500-4500, keyboard ~ 600-800, battery (new) ~ 2500-4000,
total 7000-9000 costs, you will beat off a couple of kilorubles,
I would leave myself, IMHO, after all, 17 inches are not lying on the road.
although if you put up a bargain on Avito, you may be lucky to sell more expensive.
There is a desire to sell it as unnecessary, and then the question is: how to upgrade it in order to sell it more profitably?
I would not advise to bother too much. In the best case, if you improve it, you will get the cost of the laptop in its current state + the cost of purchased pieces of iron (excluding time and effort for repairs). Put a hard drive, relatively speaking, for 5k - and the laptop from this will become more expensive than a thousand by 3. Find a battery for 2k - and it will become a thousand more expensive from this.
