What is the best way to unlearn a programmer to roll into it?

I apologize in advance if this is not the correct section.

Greetings! the situation is as follows: I moved to the capital of Siberia and entered the budget for international relations, as I have very good knowledge of the English language. after a while I realized that I don’t like studying, and the university itself is a sham, a diploma from which is not quoted anywhere. started working from the second year, worked for a little more than six months with an average salary of 45-50k (completely scoring for training, respectively).

now I have plans to go to the academy (we do it easily) for a year, so that they don’t rake into the army and have time to earn money for training (and, possibly, a military man or a slope from the army). with the army it should be kind of easy because he left for 2k km from his native Muhosransk and did not shine anywhere except for the university and work.

now I understand that I really want to try my hand at programming, and the very prospect of working from home and sticking to the stove attracts me. I understand that you will constantly need to study and you will still have to learn the materiel in a year of the academy - there shouldn’t be any problems with this, I’m basically an assiduous person, I mastered history from scratch in a year to almost maximum exam scores. and besides, as I have already read, for learning you need an English level of at least B2, in my case it is C1 - and this is definitely a plus.

so I would like to ask you, friends, what is the best thing for me to do.

there are several options - to start studying PL and slowly collect a portfolio (working along the way), enter a year later in absentia at NSTU for primacy and do the same, after which I go to the IT sphere, mb to the same franchise where I work now (salesperson at the point Yota). I work 2 through 2, at work I can do whatever I want, that is, it will not be difficult to study the code.
I think I’ll go for a zaochka because I already felt the taste of some kind of money and sitting with empty pockets is somehow already nekamilfo.

it is also possible, according to the same scenario (having worked and studied for a year), to go in a year for a point, quit your job and study at a university, living on a penny and not gaining work experience in at least some area. but in this way they will be able to give me some kind of base precisely from living teachers, tk. the university is considered quite prestigious.

in both options, I will lose two years of my life (but at least the money was not thrown away, the budget is still), I will finish my studies at 24 years old + - and I will already have some experience in programming and, in principle, work experience.

I have no desire to study in the old direction at all and I have no idea where I will work at all after graduation. (especially after recent events)))
I initially acted with the aim of doing an internship / moving abroad, but now I understand that this does not require an international document. and besides, I don’t really want to move.

So, dear experienced programmers, what should I do?

Do your projects, gain experience.
When you learn how to program, you will have a portfolio and you can be hired to work on galleys.
Programming is not a programming language, but a way of thinking and a way of life.

it seems you have already chosen an option and are just waiting for approval. ok, i approve
I will lose two years of my life
Well, you will continue to live, what is the loss. Over time, the difference in experience will become more and more smoothed out.
What do i do?
this responsibility is entirely yours. Your life, you know better from your bell tower. In principle, everything was correctly described. The truth is not quite understood why this study all the same. Now books courses are all available, you can hire a tutor if anything

The university as a whole is not required to work as a programmer, but sometimes it can be useful especially if you are going to immigrate.

and besides, as I have already read, for training you need a level of English at least B2
To be honest, this also does not seem to be true, it will be clearly easier with English, but you can master programming without B2.
The prospect of working from home and sticking to the stove without getting out attracts me.
You would first try to start programming before drawing such conclusions
but this way they will be able to give me some kind of base precisely from living teachers
It makes sense if you don’t understand it, you can’t conditionally distinguish udp from tcp, or http from https, but if you say that you are diligent enough and sure that you won’t burn out, then the diploma is really useful only as a crust.
