What is the best way to uninstall software from mac os x?
There are applications that are not removed after installation by standard methods. For example, I used browserStack local yesterday, now I can’t delete it, I deleted it in the application folder, but it still sits and starts in launcpad, it works. How do you get rid of unnecessary software?

As apple advises, straight to the trash.
If this is not enough for you, there are programs that will help you remove garbage, but it is so small that you should not bother.
AppDelete, CleanMyMac has a module for removing and others.
If the program was installed using a package (pkg, mpkg) for such programs, it is best to use UninstallPKG.
In os x, in general, there are 3 system scripts for cleaning the system that run on a schedule, + there is a system cleaning when updating.
I use https://freemacsoft.net/appcleaner/ not only erases the application, but also wipes configs and temporary files behind it
